Students can attend this class without also taking the exam class (see below) or, if they want to take exams periodically, they can miss a term of the regular classes and join the exam class for a term. It’s also possible to attend both classes. The exam class will prepare students for graded acting exams, the regular drama classes will give the children a broad grounding in performance techniques and skills. The two classes complement each other - there is not the time in the exam classes to explore many techniques in depth as there is in the regular classes, equally there is not the time in the regular 50 minute classes to prepare each child thoroughly for an acting exam - that group has to be smaller.
